Who we are
LOOKED & HOOKED is a small creative and enquiry-improvement studio. We are responsible for the personal information you send us through this website.
What we collect
When you use our enquiry form or free audit form we receive what you type in: for example your name, email, business or brand name, website or profile link, town or service area, trade, phone number (optional) and your message.
If you arrived through a campaign link, we also record that link's campaign tags (such as utm_source), the page you landed on and the referring site. We do not set tracking cookies, use third-party analytics, or store your IP address or device fingerprint for this.
How we use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare and send your free audit, and follow up about work you've asked about.
To understand, in broad terms, which campaigns bring in enquiries.
We do not sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to the enquiry you chose to send, and taking steps at your request before any agreement.
Where it's stored
Form submissions are saved in a private database run by our website hosting provider, accessible only to us. A copy of each enquiry is emailed to our studio inbox so we can respond. Our hosting and email providers may keep standard technical logs.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to respond, carry out any work, and keep reasonable business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
